Omanbapa AgriTech Ltd has strengthened its partnership with the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA) following a high-level engagement held today at the Ministry's Head Office in Accra. The event brought together senior government officials, Omanbapa AgriTech executives, and international partners to advance collaboration in sustainable agriculture, precision farming, and agricultural technology.
As part of the engagement, Omanbapa AgriTech reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Ghana's agricultural transformation through innovative solutions, including organic fertilizers, organic pesticides, soil bio-enhancers, AI-powered precision farming technologies, and farm mechanization. The company also reiterated its plans to establish a fertilizer blending and manufacturing facility in the Ahafo/Ashanti Region to support local production and enhance food security.
A key highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of Omanbapa AgriTech's sponsorship package for the 42nd National
Farmers' Day Celebration.
On behalf of the National Farmers' Day Organising Committee, Hon. Eric Opoku, Minister for Food and Agriculture, expressed appreciation for the company's support, stating:
"On behalf of the Organizing Committee for the 42nd National Farmers' Day Celebration, I extend our profound gratitude to Omanbapa AgriTech Ltd for their generous sponsorship package. Their support, which includes seven billboards, ten telescopic flags, and 500 MoFA-branded caps, is invaluable as we prepare to honour farmers, who are the backbone of Ghana's economy."
The sponsorship package includes:
- Seven outdoor billboards
- Ten telescopic promotional flags
- Five hundred MoFA-branded caps
Chief Executive Officer Bernard Oduro Takyi (Ch.IE) said the company is proud to partner with the Ministry in advancing Ghana's agricultural agenda and supporting programmes that recognize the invaluable contribution of farmers to national development.
The engagement also featured representatives from Omanbapa AgriTech's international partners, underscoring the company's commitment to bringing global agricultural technologies and investments to Ghana.
